This spring Metigrowshe Garden provided a bunch of fresh produce for delicious salads thanks to the great growing conditions inside of our protective high tunnel structure!  No need to worry about the late May frosts that hit the Turtle Mountains.   All throughout their training in May summer staff ate crunchy salads filled with baby lettuce greens, green onions, radishes, baby beet greens and sugar snap pea leaves.  Now campers are beginning to explore the garden and getting to sample these items and more as camp gets underway!
