42nd Annual Quilt Auction to be Held June 28, 2025

2024 marked the 41st annual quilt auction, and we had another great year, surpassing $185,000 in funds raised! To all of you who were involved: thank you! We would like to thank those who made and donated beautiful quilts, those who donated silent auction items and all of you who bid – whether in person or online. We also definitely want to thank our amazing co-chairs of Linda Arnason, Terri Hauge, and Eris Smith for all their time and dedication. Thank you, everyone!

This year we would like to take a moment and say a special word of thanks to co-chair Terri Hauge, as the 2024 auction was her last. We are so grateful for the time and energy you’ve put in to the Quilt Auction! We would also like to say a word of welcome to new co-chair, Vickie Harris. Vickie is a member of Metigoshe Lutheran who lives in Souris. Vickie’s connection to Metigoshe began when she and her husband, Don, served as Mission Builders on the Christian Center expansion project and has continued since then.

Of course, the quilt auction is a fun day filled with lots of laughter, conversation and bright colors. But it is also an incredibly important day for our ministry. It is through the generosity that you show that we are able to fully fund our camper scholarship program, provide a competitive summer staff stipend and hire a top-notch camp staff each year.

Make sure to mark your calendars for June 28th and plan to join us at the Christian Center with bidding to begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp! Can’t make it in person? You can still be a part of the fun! 2025 is set to be our fifth consecutive year that you can participate in our quilt auction via online bidding. On the day of the auction, you can also livestream the fun and festivities and place your bid in “real time.” You are also able to view and place bids as soon as the Quilt Auction website goes live in early June! The web address is https://www.icollector.com/Metigoshe-Ministries_ae2567.

We’ll see you on June 28th, whether live and in-person or online through the gift of technology!
