From mystery to meaning, we invite your youth to join us for a weekend of discovery, wonder, and faith-filled learning.
Holy Communion is one of the two sacraments at the center of our Lutheran tradition—rich with mystery, overflowing with grace, and deeply connected to our life together as the Body of Christ. Yet for many young people, Communion can feel abstract or unfamiliar. That’s why we created the Come to the Table Youth Retreat: a space where the meaning of this sacred meal becomes tangible, joyful, and rooted in real experience.
At Camp Metigoshe, we believe learning about faith should be active, relational, and full of the same energy that makes camp such a beloved place. Throughout the retreat, our staff will guide youth through:
- Hands-on activities that bring the story and symbolism of Communion to life
- Engaging lessons grounded in Lutheran theology
- Classic camp fun that builds community and sparks curiosity
- Moments of reflection that help youth connect the sacrament to their own lives
Whether your congregation has a pastor or is currently without one, you are welcome at this retreat. Parents and youth leaders are encouraged to attend, making this a shared learning experience that strengthens your whole faith community.
