Terry and Ann Zeltinger, of Minot ND, have been named as the 2026 recipients of the Metigoshe Ministries Director’s Reflection Award. Members of First Lutheran Church of Minot – and also active in the worship life of Metigoshe Lutheran Church during the summer months – Terry and Ann have lived lives of service both within the church and in their community, holding many leadership roles and actively supporting a wide variety of charitable causes.

The Director’s Reflection Award is presented each year at the summer Century III donor banquet by executive director, Rev. Jon Halvorson. The Director’s Reflection plaque that hangs in the Christian Center says that it is given “to those individuals who have extraordinarily influenced this ministry to the glory of God.” The Zeltingers bring the values of this award to life with their deep and abiding support of Metigoshe’s mission of Adventure Anchored in Christ. In addition to their long history of participation in our Century III annual fund support as “Forest Society” members, as well as participation in capital campaign drives, Terry and Ann also devote their time to the ministry in a wide variety of ways. Terry currently serves as a part of our budget and finance committee, and has been a member of the board of trustees.

Ann’s family traces their connection to camp all the way back to our earliest days of Lutheran camping in the Turtle Mountains, in the 1930s! Her mother, Jennie Gates, loved to tell the story of getting into the back of a grain truck with a group of teenagers from Norma and driving all the way up to the state park for their week of Lutheran Bible camp. That connection and participation in Camp Metigoshe has continued on through the generations with the Zeltinger’s own children and grandchildren – including time spent together most recently at Grandparents Camps.
