Everyone who comes to the garden this time of year is amazed by the huge variety of plants and how much life is contained in one garden.  July is such a great time to be in the garden as you can really see God’s abundance in action.  Campers can’t believe that all of the plants that now fill the garden all started as seeds there in May.  They are astounded when pulling on a feathery top and see a bright and delicious carrot emerge from the ground.  Staff and campers alike are busy trying all sorts of veggies, herbs and flowers that they have never had in their life before.   They seem to really love eating these super fresh veggies!

A quote from our devotion time this past week to share with you.  After being asked “how is God in this garden?” a camper responded, “I found God in the happy sounds that everyone was making while exploring in the garden.  God wants to make us happy and the garden does that!”
