Metigoshe Ministries has a long history of sharing our ministry with the region and being leaders in bringing the gospel to our youth. In 2022-23, we piloted a regional Confirmation program in cooperation with Pastor Cole Bentley of Metigoshe Lutheran Church. This program was distributed to eight participating congregations as a way to alleviate some of the stresses faced by congregations small and large.

The first year of this program saw a lot of success and provided us with ample learning opportunities. After staffing changes at Metigoshe put this program on the back burner, we are excited to announce that we are re-launching a new and improved Metigoshe Confirmation program for the 2024-25 school year!

This program kicked off in mid-September with an in-person leader training event hosted at our facilities on Lake Metigoshe. Participating congregations will receive two comprehensive, engaging and spiritually charged Confirmation lessons a month over the course of 8 months (16 lessons total). These lessons will include notes, plans, instructions and advice to make sure you are set up for success! Each lesson will also be paired with a devotion for congregations to use as they see fit.

Aside from this basic structure, we will hold two in-person events during the year designed specifically for our Confirmation congregations. We are beyond excited for this next step in our programming and sincerely hope that you will consider joining us!
