This workshop and all that follows is about using photography to honor and worship God and all of His creation. We will discuss the tools of photography: the cameras, lighting, the software, and accessories—but as I have always said, “The brush does not make the painter.” This introductory class will help you to understand the basics of how modern cameras capture light, composition basics, framing, without getting too technical.  We will take and share photos. In the end, your photography will be greatly improved—and we will have plenty of fun as we learn. We will attempt to cover all the material with consideration for my desire that every question is answered. We can go later, or cover less material—it is about God’s pace.

The goals of this workshop is to improve and grow our God-given talents, skills and creative abilities in photography. This is an introductory workshop to cover understanding your camera 101, some lighting and intro to composition.
