We’re delighted to introduce Karolann Kaufman as the new Kitchen Manager at Metigoshe Ministries! With years of experience in cooking and managing kitchens, Karolann brings not only skill and leadership, but a deep love for creating meals that nourish both body and spirit.

Karolann and her husband Joe recently moved from Rolette to Souris with their three children—Kindred, Hayden, and Norah—and their two beloved pets: Dubai the dog and Miss Kitty the cat. As a family, they enjoy hunting and spending time outdoors, and Karolann herself finds joy in cooking and reading.

Her first day in the camp kitchen was nothing short of inspiring. Using fresh zucchini from our garden, she whipped up a decadent chocolate zucchini cake and a batch of chocolate chip zucchini cookies that had staff and retreat guests raving. It was a delicious reminder of how food can bring people together and make a place feel like home.

Karolann’s passion for hospitality and her commitment to excellence are already making a difference. We’re so grateful to have her on the team and can’t wait to see how her creativity and care will shape the kitchen in the seasons ahead.
